  • Keep your Eyelash Extensions dry for 24 hours after your appointment.

  • You may wash your face in the sink using a washcloth, avoiding the eye area.

  • Keep all oil based products away from the eyes and remember that everything on your face will travel to the eye area.

  • Oil WILL breakdown the adhesive and you will have premature lash extension loss.

  • Your hands can get dirty, and dirt is oily, so you’ll want to keep your fingers off your eyes unless cleansing.

  • Lash tinting will need to be done 24-48 hours before your lash fill appointments.

  • No perming the lashes!

  • No saunas, facials, or swimming for 24 hours.

  • Avoid heat sources. Example: ovens, hairdryers, indoor/outdoor heaters open fire, lighters. These can cause the lashes to singe or drop their curl as they are synthetic.

  • Do not use Eyelash Curlers.

  • Please use the correct eyelash extension aftercare packs. We have these available for purchase.

  • Do not use cotton on your lash extensions.

  • Wash your lashes daily (after the initial 24 hours) to avoid makeup buildup and other eye conditions such as blepharitis.

  • Do not apply mascara or falsies to your extensions. This can pull out your extensions and natural lashes prematurely.

  • Do not attempt to remove any lashes on your own, call us for an appointment.

  • Schedule your refills in on a 2-3 week basis. Overgrown extensions can twist and pull out your natural lashes if they are not maintained regularly.

Spray Tanning

HOW DO I PREP FOR A SPRAY TAN?

It’s important you prepare properly prior to your spray tan appointment if you want premium results. We recommend following the prep below:

Hair Removal
-Please shave 24/48 hours prior to your appointment.
-If shaving or showering close to your appointment time, ensure the water is lukewarm.
-Do not wax/laser hair removal 24/48 hours prior to your appointment.
-Waxing and laser hair removal is not recommended whilst having a spray tan on your skin.

Exfoliating
-Exfoliate 24 hours prior to your appointment. Exfoliating is a non negotiable to ensure your tan is seamless. It removes dead skin cells and any debris left on the skin.
-Do not use oil-based scrubs as they can leave residue on your skin.

Skin Care

-Don’t use deodorant 24/48 hours prior to your appointment if possible. If you do not thoroughly remove deodorant prior to your appointment, your armpits can counteract with the tan and go green.

-Brow tinting/henna/stain can also go green if recently applied.
-Be mindful to remove all previous tan erasers prior to your spray tan.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO SPRAY TAN BEFORE A SPECIAL EVENT?

We recommend tanning 2 days prior to any event.

If you have any special occasions coming up and have never had a spray tan, we always recommend a trial tan to adjust any preferences.

WHEN SHOULD I SHOWER AFTER MY TAN?

Your tanning technician will recommend when to wash your tan off.

HOW LONG WILL MY TAN LAST?

5-10 days ensuring all prep and aftercare is followed. Each individual will also need to take into consideration with their skin type and lifestyle.

IS IT SAFE TO SPRAY TAN IF IM PREGNANT?

There is no evidence suggesting spray tanning while pregnant isn’t safe, testing indicates that the DHA does not penetrate the skin, nor enter the bloodstream. However as a precaution, we recommended that you consult with your medical practitioner prior to being sprayed in the first trimester.
